Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm”. No individual can accomplish a great feat without being enthusiastic about it. To do something worthwhile, to acquire a skill or become proficient in any art, enthusiasm is important. When our goal are laced with enthusiasm, we are not deterred by failure of impediments in our path. It strengthens our belief that we can achieve and that boosts our self-confidence. An enthusiastic approach can make even the most difficult job facile. Things become difficult when done with reluctance but if we generate some enthusiasm for the same work, we derive joy out of it. It helps one to preserve despite overwhelming odds. When enthusiasm dwindles with setbacks in life, it ought to be rekindled. In the words of H W Arnold, “The worst bankrupt in the world is the man who has lost his enthusiasm”.
Our epics have not only taught us to respect elders but also to face problems. what we should remember is what we spread around is finally what comes back to us.
